The Challenge of Fulfillment
Point-of-Purchase (POP) signage plays a major factor in
attracting new business and maintaining existing customers.
A POP customer with multiple sites, each having varying
quantities, sizes, and types of signage, runs promotions to
update stores with new signage frequently, often once every
month. Everyone who has ever run a Point-Of-Purchase
material program knows the key is getting the right quantity
of promotional items to the right store at the right time.
FB Johnston Graphics has figured out a better way to keep
chains on top of their POP programs. We have developed a
complete system that raises the bar for the maintenance and
delivery for any POP system, called POPS.
POPS means customers can now define promotions as
tightly as they want, even down to customized category
pricing at the store level. Of course, customers still
determine the number of promotional pieces sent to different
regions or even to individual stores.
How POPS Works
Customers let us know what materials to send to which stores
for each promotion. We take it from there, so customers
don't even have to do the order entry themselves. The
POPS program enables us to update a customer's database
by location and automatically assigns the correct number of
pieces for each store. The POPS software instantly
updates our production files so that production runs are
correct for each store.
The POPS system also produces a complete inventory,
packing lists and labels, so the accuracy of your order is
ensured for each shipment before it leaves our plants. And
since production time is greatly reduced, there is more time
to design, schedule, print and package your POP orders.
POPS Now Available On-Line
Using POPS, FBJ customers can access a large set of
reports, including store demographic information and
promotion packing lists, at any time day or night. POPS
is accessible via standard web browsers with up-to-the
minute security protection, so there is no need for a
customer to download a database or special application to
view this data.
POPS loads in your browser, enabling you to:
- View promotions created by your FB Johnston Account Manager
- Create, modify or delete promotion information
- Check shipment status for a store or market manager
- Create and view past promotion estimates
With POPS online, you can be assured that only the
correct amount of signage will be sent to the stores and/or
markets you desire, no matter the number or complexity of
your promotions. Our system allows you to determine what
promotions takes priority over other promotions, which
ensures that each store will get the necessary promotional
signage at the delivery time you indicate.
